Frequently Asked Questions
When should I get SAP Calculations done?
We would strongly advise you to instruct a SAP Assessor at design stage. This will save time and money in the long run if the specification needs to be changed to gain compliance.
What do I need to provide for the SAP Calculations?
We will need scaled floor plans, elevations, sections and a site drawing with orientation. We will also provide you with a checklist which will give us some more information on the building and service specifications – we can help at design stage if this hasn’t been finalised.
How long will it take to do the SAP Calculations?
If you are in a rush we should be able to complete the initial calculations within 48 hours. Our normal lead time is 5 working days on receipt of all the information.
When will I get the EPC?
The EPC is lodged at the final stage once the build has been completed.
How will I receive the SAP Calculations?
Once we have completed the calculations we will email you the PDFs so that you can forward them on to your Building Control Officer.
